We’re going glam this Friday! Today’s opulent, black-tie wedding editorial has all the glamorous vibes – with a nod, a wink and a bow to the beautiful vintage styling of the roaring 1920s era.

Set at the historic venue of Western Australia’s Moana Hall, our dream team was inspired by their surroundings. The venue, originally built in the 1908 Gatsby era resplendent with its original wooden jarrah floorboards and arched windows the perfect backdrop for the day to unfold.

Says photographer Luminous Portraits, who captured every detail “The style of this shoot was inspired by the venue, Moana Hall, which was originally built in the 1908 Gatsby Era. We wanted the shoot to be lavishly elegant with luxe style.”

Taking centre stage were our couples – models Ella Worthington, Kaylee Mae acting alongside Spencer Hosking. Our brides dressed in gowns from Nuku Bridal that were sleek in silhouette, bringing to life the vintage style. Sparkling jewels from Wild Laurel add detail alongside fluffy coats from Mode & Affaire. Spencer brings his dapper style to the table, in a velvet blazer from Brittons Formal Wear, matching with a black bow tie and black pants for the black-tie dress code. Elle and Kaylee, both working with hair and makeup artist Michele Allison Hair & Makeup to create a pared back hair and makeup look that let the gowns (and jewels!) do all the talking.

The ceremony setup, making the most of Moana Hall’s glorious arched windows, styled with simple floral and greenery focal features by Gilded Florals, the simple detail making way for a celebratory sit-down feast for the celebration. The team bringing in platters and plates of delicious fare from Ultimo Catering to sit amongst glittering candles, and simple floral details, alongside printed paper pieces designed by Naomi B Designs.

And a glam wedding needs glam cake, and who better to put in charge of the delicious delight than Cakes by Dark Cherry? Janelle created an utterly beautiful four (!) tier painted cake, that was topped with dark black and white blooms, for all the added drama.  The newlyweds toasted with delicious cocktails, as the night settled for stories of celebration, toasting and merriment to unfold.
