With the autumnal Gold Coast as their backdrop, Erin and Bree gathered their friends and family to celebrate their bright union at The Acre Boomerang Farm. Opting for a non-traditional wedding, they filled their day with festivities to celebrate the ones they love the most. Behind the camera, Chamore Creation was snapping away to capture this gorgeous wedding.

For Erin and Bree, it was love at first. “Bree was my tour leader on a Sail Croatia party boat in August 2017. It was love at first sight,” Erin described. “Shortly after the boat tour concluded and once Bree had finished working in Croatia she moved back to London, we became inseparable and moved in together straight away. We both love to travel, party and enjoy the sun. We’ve continued to do that ever since we met. Even relocating from Melbourne to Gold Coast to enjoy the sunshine all year long.”

“I proposed to Bree. It was a surprise picnic on a beach in Noosa. It was funny because Bree hates surprises and I asked for the picnic to be placed in a quiet secluded beach away from the public, only for us to walk up to the picnic location, where it was front and centre on a main beach in Noosa… very embarrassing for us but it was still such an amazing moment when Bree said yes. A moment we will both never forget.”

It’s clear from the get-go that they wanted everyone to have an impact on the wedding. They handed their wedding parties a colour palette to find their own attire and their Maid of Honour’s the task of finding matching coloured dresses from One Fell Swoop. “On the day we were nervous for how it would all look together. It ended up looking amazing, and all the colours tied in so nicely with the rest of our wedding colours.”

The beautiful flowers found throughout the day are courtesy of The Electric Rose. “All we said to Sam was that we wanted bright pops of colour, not traditional bouquets, and she really did exactly that. The flowers were so beautiful. It really was a highlight of the day for us. Especially our arbour. WOW!”

Finding a venue was an easy task for these two after instantly falling in love with The Acre Boomerang Farm on the sunny Gold Coast. “The Acre was the first and only venue we viewed. It was an easy yes because of how beautiful the venue was, the ability to host up to 150 people, the proximity to Gold Coast for our guests, and we were able to have a cocktail-style Tipi wedding which is what we had always wanted, and of course how truly amazing their staff were from the moment we made contact with them.”

The stunning design and styling of this party wedding come from the work of Johanna from Bliss and Willow. “Bree and I have no real creative flair. To say she was absolutely amazing is an understatement. The way she set everything up and coordinated with our suppliers was truly breathtaking. She is the main reason why our wedding day was so perfect and stress-free.”

After having their first look and finishing their pre-ceremony photos, Erin and Bree walked down the aisle together with each of their dads on their arms. “It was INCREDIBLE as no one knew how we were coming down the aisle together. It was the happiest moment of my life!”

Their favourite photo? “The photo of Bree and I walking down the aisle with our Dad’s. It literally captured everything in one image. We were so happy.”

To keep the party vibes going, Annie from Celebrant Lady Love officiated the wedding – with a twist! “We told our celebrant that we wanted her to hype the party up, be funny, and make everyone laugh and cry, and she did exactly that. So many of our guests came up to us and said she was the best celebrant they had ever seen. She really did get our wedding day started off in the most perfect way.”

Erin and Bree can’t stop raving about Chamore Creations (and we can’t blame them – have you seen these photos?!). “As soon as I saw their IG feed, I knew they had to be our photographers!! We then met Morgan and Charlotte for our engagement shoot and they truly are such beautiful and funny ladies. They are so much fun, so hilarious as well as produce the most amazing photography. We love them so much. Our day wouldn’t have been the same without them. They also made everything extremely stress-free and EASY.”

“We wanted everyone to be included on our wedding day, so the layout of the furniture was important as well as having the dance floor in the centre with seating areas around the dance floor,” Erin explained. “We had some unique signage as well which was special to let people know how much it meant to us that they travelled so far to our special day.”

Staying true to themselves, Erin and Bree planned their reception to be one big party – without all the formalities. Well, except for the four speeches they allowed, making sure there was more time to party and boogie the night away.

“We didn’t do a first dance together. We told our MC that we wanted him to get everyone on the dance floor for a ‘first song’ with our entire wedding.” Their song choice was very fitting – “Absolutely Everybody” by Vanessa Amorosi. “It surely did get everyone on the dance floor partying the night away under the stars. Best way to get everyone on the dance floor.”

They did their cake-cutting privately to have a moment alone together as a married couple for the first time. And their best wedding planning advice? “Find suppliers that align with your values, your vibe as a couple and of course your vision for the day. All our suppliers were truly so amazing, and we do believe that is why our day was so perfect.”

Congratulations, Erin and Bree, on your colourful celebrations! And thank you to Chamore Creations for submitting this beautiful couple.
