Using the autumnal season as inspiration, Jasmin and Dean held a cosy wedding only weeks after welcoming their baby girl into the world. With all hands on deck, friends and family came together to help the couple pull together the wedding so they could celebrate surrounded by loved ones.

With Kristie from KLD Photography on their team, they captured the latest chapter in the story, while getting to enjoy some quality time with the latest member of their family. Their backdrop for the day was The Barn on the Ridge in Milton, NSW, which was illuminated as the sun set over the hills.

Dean and his wedding party wore matching neutral linen blazers from Connor, with brown pants, white button-up shirts and no ties. His groomsmen wore a floral boutonniere made up of autumnal orange, pinks and a maple leaf, Dean wore the same but with a pink rose in the centre.

Matching the groom’s boutonniere, the bouquets were made from the same autumnal-coloured florals – with the addition of maple leaves to add more dimension. All of the flowers were created by The Wild Rose Florist, located in Moruya, NSW.

She wore a stunning two-piece set from We Are Mancini, that featured a cropped bodice with puff off-the-shoulder sleeves, a sweetheart neckline and cutout detailing in the back. The skirt portion of the two-piece was a fitted cut with a slight flare at the bottom. She completed her outfit with pearl jewellery and a pair of sparkly, pearl-detailed boots from Django & Juliette. Their 11-week-old baby girl wore a cosy linen one-piece, with an adorable headband.

In Jasmin’s wedding party, she had her sister, sisters-in-law and her best friend. They each wore either a burnt orange or neutral pink dress in the same style from Aere. Like Jas, her Maid of Honour had also just had a baby, but had flown all the way from London to celebrate this beautiful day together.

Their venue of choice for the day was The Barn on the Ridge in Morton, New South Wales. “It’s set on a beautiful property on the south coast of NSW. The barn is beautiful and there was an amazing view of Pigeon House Mountain which is where we spent a few of our first dates.”

After her wedding party had walked down the aisle, it was Jasmin’s turn. With her mum and dad on either arm, she walked towards Dean as “Cherub” by Ball Park Music played.

Leading the cosy ceremony was their celebrant, Modern Rituals by Kiah. “Kiah was amazing at making our ceremony fun and casual. She had some really great ideas of different things to include, which we hadn’t seen before at a wedding,” Jas explained.

While guests made their way over to the reception space, Jas and Dean took off with Kristie their photography, for their wedding portraits. “Kristie Lee was so great at making us feel comfortable. We are not photogenic people at all and struggle to take a selfie, but Kristie Lee just spoke to us like a friend, made us laugh and made the whole day really fun,” Jasmin shared. As their photos were being taken, the sun started to set over NSW – and they loved the ambience it gave to the photos, adding, “The sunset just kept on giving; it was unreal.”

Their favourite photos from the day? “It’s so hard to pick one, we love the sunset photos on the swing but also the photo of my husband and I holding our 11-week-old baby on the jetty with her little face poking through is definitely a favourite!”

The day before the wedding, the wedding party and family met up to set up the venue, as the couple were still adjusting to their new baby girl. “It was chaotic for a minute there, especially with a newborn baby; but it was actually really nice and easy and got everyone really excited for the big day.”

Their reception featured long communal tables to bring everyone together, a mixture of rustic and vintage furniture, the barn atmosphere and their autumnal colour palette. With the addition of the Hello Margy Caravan Bar for guests to enjoy a drink or two.

As the Like A Version of “Hey Ma” by The Vanns played, Jasmin and Dean had their first dance. “It was more of a sway but it was a nice moment to hold onto each other for a while until the drop in the song where my brothers lifted me on their shoulders and everyone joined the dance floor.”

Congratulations to Jasmin and Dean – not only on your stunning cosy wedding, but also on the arrival of your beautiful little girl! And a huge thanks to KLD Photography for sharing these gorgeous moments with us.
