We love to bring you wedding inspiration of all styles, all settings and all seasons and today’s inspiration, set in a Gold Coast beachside cafe is just the kind of editorial we love.
It’s packed with ideas, that are easy to replicate yourself, in a setting that is easy to find, and it’s completely attainable. This setup? It was all the brainchild of Marisha, of Magnolia Studios who notes “With a colour palette inspired by an ocean sunset this shoot was designed to create a romantic bohemian love story, capturing the uniqueness of the cafe and its coastal urban setting and juxtaposing that with the most romantic of details.”
Captured in all of its beachside beauty by Atomicbutterfly, Marisha, who not only styled this shoot but also brought to life the flowers, chose beachside venue Wildernis Cafe Bar for this shoot. Long wooden tables, a bold black and white mural lending the boho vibes. The tables set with dried flowers, and mismatched vases. Laser-etched wooden pieces from The Rustic At Heart inviting guests to the celebration, and guiding them to their seats. Taper candles in tones of white, blush and sage green from Southern Lights Candle Co alongside a white tiered buttercream cake tied with a sage ribbon by Whisk by Sarah tying the look together.
Our models, Lori Favero and Dominic Thwaite dressed in pieces from Helena Couture Designs and Urbbana. Lori’s brunette hair swept into a curly up-do by Makeup by Theresa who also styled her beach wedding ready makeup, with sparkly jewels from My Jewellery Shop. The pair “marrying” outside with Nicole Craze – Crazy for Love Celebrant before they made the most of the sherbet toned beachside sunset.
Says Marisha “The entire team behind the shoot were incredible, capturing the brief and producing the amazing work to create this seamless and wildly beautiful shoot.”
