With the festive season well and truly upon us, it’s the perfect time to enjoy good food, good company and great cocktails! So today I’m serving up the festive flavoured cocktails.

As a big believer in theming the drink menu and cocktails to the occasion, here are my two top pics to get the festivities off to a delicious start.

Christmas Ginger Bread Dream

  • 45ml vodka
  • 45ml Baileys
  • 2 scoops of gingerbread ice cream
  • 2-3 ice cubes

  1. Blend the ingredients in a blender.
  2. Pour in a glass of our choice (we like these handle glasses) and decorate by garnishing with a miniature gingerbread man or Christmas tree cookie.

Nutmeg Espresso Martini

  • 30ml vodka
  • 30ml Kahlua
  • 1 shot of freshly brewed espresso
  • A squirt of simple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Nutmeg

Combine the ingredients in a shaker along with ice, then shake vigorously before pouring into a martini glass and garnish with a pinch of Nutmeg for a tasty Christmas twist.
