Emerald green is not a colour we have seen often in weddings, and today, we have to question why, because we’ve got an editorial packed to the brim with emerald green wedding ideas throughout each and every detail? It’s utterly glorious!
This shoot, set at the stunning (and in every possible shade of green) Bawley Vale Estate puts a modern take on this under-appreciated tone, and I’m pretty sure the beauty of this shoot is enough to make you add this one to your own colour palette.
It’s the brainchild of Wedding Planner (and stylist, and florist!) The Wedding and Event Creators who also lent their much-loved three-wheeler delicious dessert bike The Gelato Bike for the show. Owner Vanessa noting “Emerald is the stone of successful love, it opens and nurtures the heart, embodies unity, compassion and unconditional love.”
And I have to say, I think it is pretty evident that one of the shining stars of this beautiful editorial is that deep, lush green suit worn by model Dan. it’s the work of The Collared Man and a beautiful compliment to model Jess’s gown with fringe detail Your Art Bridal. Jess’s relaxed look finished with smokey eyes by Alyce Apps Makeup and a boho style braided up-do by Hair by Courtney Anne with a beaded & You Bridal hairpiece.
Photographer Ainslee Burke Photography was in charge of capturing every emerald detail alongside cinematographer GCC Visuals, (scroll on for the film). The lush blooms (also styled by The Wedding and Event Creators), and emerald tones carried through three looks – an outdoor ceremony, an indoor lounge areas (complete with by a glam green and gold wedding cake designed by Willow + George) and a sparkling after-dark celebration. The evening reception lit by garlands upon garlands of fairy lights, overtop a long tape set with taupe linens, plenty of candlelight and modern lettered place cards by White Cherry Invitations.
So what do you say? Are you headed to the emerald city?
