Shaunah & Norman
If there is one thing I have come to learn, after sharing thousands upon thousands of weddings over the years, it’s that a wedding day, might be about the couple, but it’s also about the family they choose to have there.
For Shaunah & Norman, it wouldn’t have been their wedding without the inclusion of their beautiful children. And they were present in every moment – the walk down the aisle, the giving of the rings. This is not a day that was filled with details, but something much more important. Because this was a day that as truly not just about the newlyweds, but about a celebration of their little family and the love they share.
It completely helped that they did it in beautiful Tasmania too of course, Kristy L Photography documenting the beautiful, intimate day against the stunning mountain backdrop.
With the help of Pop Up Weddings Tasmania who planned the day, Shaunah & Norman chose luxury accommodation Eagles Nest Retreat for their wedding. The bride remembering “I didn’t have to organise anything. Tracey Bruce and team did an amazing job, so professional, organised, efficient, (with the) details!!!!”
Shaunah chose a beautiful Grace Loves Lace gown. The lace mesh detail a beautiful addition to the day.
The bride walked down the aisle with daughter Sylvie, greeted by Norman and the couple’s sons Jack, and Louis.
The ceremony, officiated by Tracey Bruce set the scene for the couple to deliver their own heartfelt vows to one another.
The bride carried a bouquet of colourful, seasonal wildflowers by Found In Earth.
Of their photographer, the bride can’t rave enough, sharing “Our first meeting on the day, I was nervous she wouldn’t spend enough time capturing memories but she assured me she wouldn’t leave if she didn’t think she had some great photos. True to her word, I can’t thank her enough.”
A simple marquee reception was the most beautiful way to celebrate. The decorations simple – a few flowers, wine and the bride’s grandparent’s picnic basket, filled with mementos so appropriate considering Shaunah & Norman chose their anniversary as their wedding date.
Congratulations to the newlyweds! Thank you for sharing your beautiful day with us! Thank you also to Kristy L Photography and Pop Up Weddings Tasmania for sharing today’s stunner of a celebration!
