Jess & Craig
It was a sunny Autumn day by the sea when Jess and Craig tied the knot. Captured by Lola Loves Charlie, the couple opted for a day that was, in their words, “Simple – just a big celebration with great food and great company!”. There was no fuss, but there were plenty of hurrahs, and we’re sharing them all with you today.
The newlyweds chose Little Bay Chapel for their wedding, noting “For the ceremony we wanted something intimate and beautiful. ”
The bride chose a long sleeve gown by Unbridaled by Dan Jones, remarking “My dress was elegant, simple, comfortable, me. It was made by a local Sydney designer – long sleeved, floor length silk georgette without any bells or whistles. Just gorgeous fabric and a timeless design.”
Of their photographer, Jess remembers “She felt like one of the guests, a lovely girl and exactly what we wanted for our day. We got lots of gorgeous candid shots.”
Celebrations continued at Three Blue Ducks, Jess remarking “We wanted a place where we would normally want to spend a Saturday night dinner with friends. We also wanted a place that had a good food ethic that offered hearty share plates.”
While the reception flowers were styled by family, the bride’s bouquet was created by Flowers For Freedom. Jess explains they are “a talented friend who runs a non-for-profit where flowers are charged at cost and all labour costs are donated to charity.”
Music was special for the couple, choosing “Hallelujah I Just Love Her So” by Ray Charles for the first dance and ‘Scenic World’ by Beirut for the processional.
Congratulations on your marriage Jess & Craig! Thank you for sharing your special day with us! Thank you also to Lola Loves Charlie for sharing today’s beautiful photos with us!
