When I opened Holloway Diamonds (first called Precious Metals) in 1976 as a geologist with no diamond and jewellery experience I could not understand why badly cut lifeless diamonds often cost more than sparkling beauties! I discovered grading Cut is very hard, it is the Cinderella of the 4 C’s and so most diamonds are ‘Cut for Carats’ not for beauty. In this series of video tutorials, I will help you select a beautiful diamond for your needs.
Ms Gingham says: For those of us who don’t know a carat from a carrot, this series of video tutorials are not to be missed!

Have spent many a time gazing into Garry’s shopfront in Canterbury… beautiful diamonds and amazing craftmanship. Great advice!
