We asked Stacey of Ever After Stationery to tell us a little more about herself:

Weddings are the best to work on because….

They are all about love! Two people who have found each other, fallen in love and want to spend the rest of their lives side by side. That is a special thing to be a part of!

What is something people would be surprised to know about your job or something that challenges you about your job?

Designing is only a small part of the job! There is actually a lot of time spent on the other aspects of the business like sourcing materials, quoting and invoicing, marketing, packaging and checking all the little details. But I do try and spend time being creative whenever I can!

What is it about the creative process that you most enjoy?

Working with colour and tangible elements to tell a couple’s story. Weaving little details that are so ‘them’ into their stationery and signage that will make guests smile when they see them.

What are you hilariously bad at?

Account keeping! Maths was never my strong suit and when it comes to invoices and all the serious side of business, part of me wishes I could wave a magic wand and just have it taken care of haha

When you were small what did you dream of being and where have those dreams taken you?

I always wanted to do something creative, like work at a magazine or own a little gift store. My dreams have taken me from retail, to studying design, to working for a photographer and a print house. And I like to think they have all been stepping stones that led me here to wedding stationery.
