With sustainability at the focus of everything they do, today’s dream team wanted to prove that eco-friendly weddings can be as beautiful as they are kind to the earth.

Floral designers The Love Garden and Branch and Sea putting together an editorial that embraced every bit of their beliefs – from locally grown and sourced flowers, to pre-worn attire, to the silk used being hand dyed. Every step, every detail was carefully considered.

Set at the beautiful Gold Coast venue The Bower Estate (aptly, surrounded by nature) the floral designer duo, assisted by Sarah Gehling and Taylor Grime and stylist Frank & Joy, created a lush, flower filled ceremony setup, that transitioned to an elegant outdoor reception.  An aisle and backdrop of brightly coloured blooms, making it official before they dined at a long wooden table. Soft gauzy linens and ribbons, by Songbird Silk (also tied around the bouquets, topping the table, where peach flowers sat in assorted vessels amongst tall taper candles, fruits and goblets ready for toasting.

With Love by Colour Captured behind the camera, and the concept, models (a real life couple who happen to be florists themselves!) Heaven & Kate from Bare Bouquets wore pre-worn pieces from Bloom, as they “tied the knot” and celebrated in style. Their modern romance hair and makeup look complete by Olivia Mayberry.
