You know how much we practically fall over ourselves when it comes to shouting the praises of Aussie designers from the rooftops right? Well it should come as no surprise then that we’re marvellously excited to kick off a brand new week with the 2022 “Oasis” and “Oasis Rising” collection from Madi Lane
A two-part collection, Oasis speaks to two distinct styles of the wearer. Over 32 beautiful gowns, this is a collection where there is something for everyone. Inspired by the ocean (and aptly shot in the Whitsundays), there is everything here. From beautiful, delicate laces that adorn layered tulle skirts, from soft delicate sleeves, and to sweeping trains, it is romantic, and every bit the Madi Lane you know and love. Check our “Jordan” with its 3D chiffon lace that looks like scattered petals and a beautiful sweetheart neckline bodice. We also love “Jayce” another A-line gown with the classic Madi Lane romance This one has long sheer sleeves and exposed boning throughout the bodice, marrying traditional wedding style with something a little modern.
And then there’s “Oasis Rising” this, the second collection of 14 gowns, is much more inspired by the on-trend minimalist styling. The fabrics are simpler – satin and mikados, and unadorned. Simple fitted gowns, with delicate detail that is understated and pared back; it’s beautiful, considered and so very 2022. “Jasper”, inspired by old Hollywood glam is made of soft satin chiffon, a sweeping skirt paired with bishop sleeves. Don’t miss “Jeri” either. No adornment, but a beautiful skirt, sweetheart bodice and low v neck that makes for something simply stunning.
When it comes to sizing, Madi Lane gowns are available in sizes 2-28. Creative Director and designer Liz Young explains “The two-part collection presents a compilation representative of tomorrow’s bride collective with new and fresh designs elevating and lifting from traditional to trendy.” And somehow, this is a brand that manages to pull it all together so effortlessly.
Madi Lane is stocked all over the world, so head to the stockists page to find where you can try them on near you.
