Not only is it already a favourite for holidays, but the rolling hills and sandy beaches, and bountiful options for amazing accommodation, mean it’s the ultimate spot for a sneaky elopement (and relaxing, post-marriage honeymoon!).
Today we’re diving in head first and rounding up the best places to elope on the Sunshine Coast. And while there are plenty (and many) beautiful public beaches, parks and gardens, and many companies who will help you plan, well everything, today we’re focussing on the private venues you need to add to your list.

Between Maleny and Noosa with views of the coast, this venue offers two elopement packages – one package for up to 20 guests (ceremony with sparkling wine for your guests) and one package for 30-100 guests (inclusive of ceremony and beverage and food options. With disabled access at the Lakehouse set amongst gardens, rock pool and arbours, this venue offer elopement to small wedding packages (up to 20 people), a wedding team to take the stress from you, and reception options of the Restaurant at night or for a daytime reception, The Lakehouse Deck. Accommodation is exciting with luxury treehouse cabins for couples, penthouse treehouses, and ‘The Nest” and ‘The Whistle Stop’ heritage cabin options which offer more space and beds for larger groups.

Bring in your caterer, drinks, entertainment and decor to make your day unique. You have exclusive use of the house for the weekend which can sleep 10 guests. The Falls Wedding Chapel, Montville
What a gorgeous chapel to elope in (although this chapel can accommodate up to 80 people). The garden offers many photo opportunities and there are restaurants nearby to celebrate your nuptials.
The sweetest stone chapel, Annabella has all the pomp and ceremony you need for your vows, without any of the religion or formality. It sits within beautiful gardens and is the perfect place to bring a little tradition to your elopement.

With a tiny house and a rainforest cabin onsite for accommodation this is the perfect venue for your elopement. If being surrounded by animals of all sorts, with views of the Glasshouse Mountains and the beach only 20 minutes away is your idea of heaven, then this is the venue for you.
A ceremony on the boardwalk, in the Manor House or on the deck overlooking the valley views or even in the garden, this venue offers flexible options for your elopement. After the ceremony adjourn to the house for a small indoor reception for up to 12 guests… and catering options aplenty. The Falls can accommodate groups of 4 to 8 people in their beautiful Queenslander Manor House. If your group is slightly larger, they can host additional guests in our rainforest cottages.

Double Bay Beach and Green Zebra Restaurant and Bar
Hire the beach on Kawana Island, in front of Green Zebra’s alfresco deck, via the Sunshine Coast Council. It’s only steps to your wedding reception venue where Green Zebra offers a private dining room for 14 seated guests or a choice of dining alcoves accommodating 15 or 35 guests seated or standing. Their function coordinator you will discuss and design a package that gives you the ultimate experience.
