Today we’re diving in head first and rounding up the best places to elope on the Sunshine Coast. And while there are plenty (and many) beautiful public beaches, parks and gardens, and many companies who will help you plan, well everything, today we’re focussing on the private venues you need to add to your list.

Accommodation is exciting with luxury treehouse cabins for couples, penthouse treehouses, and ‘The Nest” and ‘The Whistle Stop’ heritage cabin options which offer more space and beds for larger groups.
With superb views of the valley, Kondalilla National Park and the surrounding countryside this lovely venue can host an elopement in the gardens with rolling lawns perfect for a marquee, tipi or outdoor wedding. Bring in your caterer, drinks, entertainment and decor to make your day unique. You have exclusive use of the house for the weekend which can sleep 10 guests. The separate and private master bedroom with en-suite makes an ideal bridal suite.
This beautiful venue, Maleny Retreat Weddings, hosts elopements midweek. With onsite accommodation for up to fourteen guests, room for a celebration dinner under the stars, and even a golf buggy included, it’s such a brilliant spot for a midweek stay and plays.

What a gorgeous chapel to elope in (although this chapel can accommodate up to 80 people). The garden offers many photo opportunities and there are restaurants nearby to celebrate your nuptials.
