There might be no more magical place on earth to spend a sunrise, than at our own Uluru, and so, what better place (and time!) to tie the knot?

Bree and Jack are taking centre stage today, the couple eloping with just their photographer (Samantha Heather Photography) their celebrant (Meredith Campbell Red Centre Celebrant) and Bree’s best friend. As dawn broke across the red rock they pledged their lives together in a sunrise ceremony, and we’re thinking that the sacred mood these two craved for their big day? They might have just nailed it. Not a bad start for married life for a couple that met at a board game night!

Photographer Samantha telling “After 9 days he asked her out. 9 days after that he moved in. When you know, you know. Some new jobs, two cute puppies and plenty of games nights later, these two found themselves on top of Uluru. Jack told me that in his 15 years of living in Australia, he had never once woken early enough to stop and view the sunrise. I was shocked but at the same so grateful that this would be his first. It doesn’t get much better than this.”

With multiple outfit changes (including a stunning lace gown and traditional Chinese wedding attire) eloping gave Bree and Jack all the freedom to do exactly as they wanted and we’d have to agree with Samantha here, because really, does it get any better than a golden Uluru elopement?

The couple prepared for the day together, details aplenty – right down to Bree making their wedding ring boxes out of Lego.

Bree found her beautiful, lace wedding gown at The Sposa Group. She tells “The wedding dress that I picked was the first one I tried on, and it just felt like ‘me’.”

On the advice of their photographer “There were just five of us, so we could do what we want without judgement!” notes Bree; the couple met before their ceremony for a first look. “Sam is an amazing photographer. She captures the most memorable moments. She has a unique style. She is lovely and full of energy – also good at board games! We all love her!”

As the sun rose over Uluru, the couple were wed by Meredith Campbell Red Centre Celebrant. Says Bree “We wanted it to be very simple and to feel sacred.”

The couple read speeches to one another, the best part? Both of them were incredibly similar!

Naturally, the pair had to make use of the local transport – hitching a ride with Uluru Camel Tours.

As the sun set, Bree & Jack switched into more casual attire to make the most of it.

The day after the ceremony and portraits, dressed in their traditional Chinese wedding attire, the couple headed out for even more photographs.

The biggest of congratulations to the newlyweds! Thank you for sharing your story with us today. Thank you also to Samantha Heather Photography for sharing such incredible images.
