As spend our month chatting all things seaside for The Coastal issue, we come to you brimming with even more ideas thanks to a talented NSW dream team.
Set on the shores of beautiful Birubi Beach, Anna Bay, with venue Crest Birubi Beach as their backdrop, photographer Teresa of Muse Photography had a clear vision in mind for this editorial. She says “This place is known for whale watching, dunes for days and the most amazing sunsets. It came together to inspire couples that want a beachside wedding, with a relaxed feel – the location is the feature here! Personally, as a photographer, my inspiration was to explore the little details.”
The space, under the watchful eye of Wedding Road, and stylists A Beautiful Occasion and Belle Abode Interiors took on a modern coastal vibe. A colour palette of champagne and neutrals with that beachside relaxed flavour that we’re all drawn to when it comes to seaside weddings. “We didn’t want anything to feel too stiff or rigid” explains Teresa. “I know many couples personally who love to feel the sand on their toes on their wedding day. It’s also playful – running on the dunes, having cocktails etc.”
Our models also echoed that modern vibe,. Our bride was dressed in a strapless, puff sleeve gown from Atelier Rose, hair and makeup artist Empire Artistries styling her look to complement the modern style. The groom went sans bowtie and opted for a grey Rundle Tailoring suit. The combination of both honouring the luxe, relaxed coastal vibes completely came together.
And so we invite you, grab a cocktail, take an oyster and settle in for a scroll. Your seaside wedding never looked so beautiful!
