It was this sense of unique self, that inspired today’s dream team for their stunning Blue Mountains editorial. Photographer James White Photography (the wizard behind these captures) sharing “We wanted to show people that their marriage day could be whatever they wanted. It didn’t have to follow a traditional timeline or layout. In this case, being avid hiking fans and all about nature, they could choose to incorporate their loves and hobbies into their big day.”
Our real-life couple, Jesse and Renee hiking the mountain on the way to their vows. Once at the peak, in a setup planned and coordinated by The Wild Pair, Renee, who had her hair and makeup styled by Brushy, slipped into a beautiful long sleeve, lace Grace Loves Lace gown. Jesse into pieces from Just For Him Menswear ready to make it official with a view they’d never forget.
Til Death Do Us Party also joined the group (scroll on for the film!) the finishing touches in the form of beautiful Australian blooms styled by Brushwood Floral Design and Quill Design paper pieces. Our “newlyweds” celebrating their vows with a private picnic, with an unbeatable view at sunset, thanks to a picnic setup by Little Bird Boutique Events.
And so let this be proof, that your day your way will always be perfect, And if you love mountains and hiking? Then you really need to consider donning your own hiking boots on your wedding day, for something absolutely true to you. Says James “We met in Katoomba, drove out in the 4WD and packed our bags, hiking from the car park around the mountain ridge, down into a bit of a valley, had our epic couple get ready in a cave overlooking the mountains, and then hiked up to the cliff on top of the Mountains Tain overlooking the entire valley. Our couple was really into hiking, so we wanted to make this marriage day really awesome for them and make it feel as real as possible!”
