Beachside weddings are no doubt one of your favourite settings to tie the knot and today’s editorial gives a fresh take on chic beachside wedding style.
With photographer Pixel Punk Pictures behind the camera, this Brisbane dream team set about creating wedding inspiration that in planner April of Forever A Moment Events words, was “A modern interpretation of a nautical/ Hamptons style of shoot combining the nautical elements of whitewashed timber and being close to the jetty with a modern Hamptons style twist to give the shoot a sense of class and sophistication.”
Set on the beach at Woody Point, and the studio space of Pink Bungalow, April and the team wanted to create an opportunity for Brisbane wedding pros to collaborate on something beautiful (and connect while doing it!) the team aiming to put their own modern touch on nautical styling.
Tahlia’s look complete with work from hairstylist Shannon Strike Hair and makeup artist Sparks Makeup Artistry. The pair saying their “vows” with the help of Married By Bec at the beach with a shipwreck as their backdrop.
Inside, a table topped in shades of blue, thanks to stylist Ever After Weddings and Events brought the outside in. Stationery designer Laura creating a navy and white stationery suite that invited guests along to the seaside celebration. Redcliffe City Florist weaving together floral arrangements of greenery and blue thistle, to bring the look together. And a stunner of a cake in chic navy and white, honoured the nautical vibe thanks to Thelma’s Kitchen.
It makes sense that the beauty of this editorial is down to the talent of the dream team. This? This is what happens when you let vendors do the thing they’re amazing at- admits April “The concept was found through utilising the best of what our vendors had to offer. ”
