If there ever was a brand we’ve come to know for affordable, luxury pieces, it’s London fashion house  House of CB. So imagine our delight at the launch of their debut wedding gown collection. Oh yes, friends, the angels sang, the confetti popped!

The collection, which was shot on two different models, in two different sizes (which, quite frankly, we’d love to see more brands get on board with!) starts at just AUD $706. These are not gowns of frou-frou and layers, they’re simple, they’re chic, and they’re designed to make the most of their wearer’s own unique figure.

Designer Conna Walker, who founded her brand from her bedroom ten years ago, sharing “Every woman needs to look perfect and effortless on her wedding day and her dress can help her achieve that. Fall in love with the House of CB’s very first bridal collection. These elegant, flowing pieces will make you feel beautiful and confident. These silky, light and loose fabrics will feel wonderful on your skin and highlight your features on your special day.”

There are ten gowns in this debut collection, featuring detail like emphasised waists, shoestring straps, cowl necks, deep draping backs, off the shoulder necklines. Beautiful “Estelle” features a classic scoop neck silhouette. She’s classic and modern, with a little touch of tradition. There’s “Ines” with a strapless corset look, “Gigi” with her shoestring straps and wrap detail, just the ticket for a relaxed beachside day or wandering through the garden. These are gowns that are so very appropriate for the forthcoming 2020-2021 wedding season, which will no doubt, be a little more pared back then we would have otherwise seen. And if aisles are filled with gowns like this? We’re so very here for it.

The gowns? (and the fashion collection) are all available via the website, and of course, they ship to Australia! Shop here.
