Shaynee & Adriano

The Sparkle issue is all about the glitter, the sequins, and well, apart from bride Shaynee’s breathtaking, golden disco ball gown, this was a wedding that was filled with sparkle in other ways too.

Designed to be a “European inspired cocktail party on a Melbourne rooftop” these two really made the city their own. Their champagne tower, their epic menu, the dancing that will make you tap your toes right there at home. Every beautiful moment of joy captured by the ever wonderful Sayher Heffernan.

It was just the celebration these two needed, the pair meeting through a mutual friend and celebrating the culmination of their time together in a jam-packed day filled with close family & friends and, in Shaynee’s words “A beautiful and exciting celebration of our love and commitment to each other”.

We all want to know about that golden gown! It’s a stunner designed by Oglia Loro. Shaynee noting “I never pictured myself wearing white and I love gold so I went with it.”

The Dome, 333 Collins St hosted the ceremony in stunning style.

The fresh flowers on the day were styled by Creating Beautiful. “Roses and hydrangeas, our favourite” explains Shaynee.

The bride walked down the aisle with her parents to Elvis Presley’s “Can’t help Falling In Love”.

You can already tell this wedding was relaxed and easygoing, and that’s also what these two wanted, from their choice of photographer. They share “Sayher was a pleasure to work with, calm, friendly, easy-going and not in our faces all day long.”

And when it was time to celebrate Shaynee & Adriano headed to Siglo with their guests. “Siglos is one One of our favourite bars in Melbourne” remarks Shaynee. “We often go there for pre or post-dinner drinks.”

Don’t know about you guys, but we’d have loved an invite to this celebration, which Shaynee and Adriano designed to be “An abundance of food and cocktails, an Italian band, a brass band and cigars. The brass band ( Siesta Cartel of Rutherford Entertainment) backed up by a DJ (DJ Ben of Rutherford Entertainment) was what kept the party going!.”

After the festivities were complete, the newlyweds headed to Gogo Bar with their favourites to dance the night away.

You know how much we love a wedding film! These two chose Ryan Lee Adams to capture theirs.

Congratulations Shaynee & Adriano! What a joy it was to share your day. Thank you for sharing your stories and thank you to Sayher Heffernan for sharing today’s beautiful images!
