Oh, emerald green, you’re having a moment and we are here. for. it.
Today’s beautifully styled editorial was inspired by a collection of incredible velvet green chairs (from M Event Hire). The deep jewel tone kicking off a look that was all about “modern wedding styling mixed with ethereal elegance”. Oh and that it was. Our bride, model Emily Craigg dressed in the most stunning of gowns from Dion For Brides, with loose beachy waves and smokey eyes styled by Connor Adams. Her look finished with the most romantic bouquet of blooms, created by Wildwood Floral that beautifully tied in with the outdoor tablescape.
And that table? A beautiful blend of romance, of modern styling. It featured gold and white tableware from Side Serve Perth, atop crisp white linens from The Tailored Table and stationery of golden calligraphy and gold wax seal designed by Small Brown Writes.
And then there was cake – and you know how much we love a good cake! This beauty was created by De La Rosa Cakes The soft grey tiered beauty topped with beautiful peachy pink blooms.
Every beautiful moment was caught on camera by the ever-talented Amelia Claire Fine Art Photography at Perth venue Lamonts Bishops House. Photographer Amelia shared “We wanted to create images that were elegant, soft and also modern. The blooms were a miracle as the shipments from overseas had been stopped due to COVID-19, there had been a freak hail storm at the farm in WA that supplies a lot of these types of flowers, however, we still managed to get our hands on some for our shoot!”
And doesn’t this just inspire you to switch up your colour palette for your big day? To include rich jewel tones like this beautiful emerald, alongside blush pinks? Alongside peaches and golds?
