It may be anything but beach weather, and we may all be quarantined inside, but today’s editorial will keep us dreaming of those days when sand, surf and sea are on the agenda once again.
Complete with plenty of relaxed, and beautiful Byron Bay style, on the ever beautiful Wategos Beach, today’s inspiration is packed full of ideas you’ll want to steal for your own beachside weddings.
Because this isn’t just a bride (who is model Chelsea Donaldson) on the beach, this is a bride who is dressed in the most stunning bohemian style gowns (designed by Spell but of course). It’s of beautiful floral hairpieces (and jewellery check out the flower earrings!) by Mary Poppies woven into soft, beachy hairstyles by Luciana Rose. It’s glowing, effortless makeup by Ava Belle. It’s a beautiful invitation suite by Little Green Leaf.
And it’s not just inspiration, it’s a celebration of love, of collaboration – photographer Andrea Siligardi who captured it all and makeup artist Ava Belle who have both recently returned from living in Europe and decided a shoot on the beach was just the way they wanted to celebrate being back in Australia together.
Photographer Andrea explained “This was a very special shoot as my partner Ava Belle (H&MUA) & I returned from living in Paris together and wanted to create a Byron Bay vibe-styled shoot to add to my portfolio and body of work.
While we stayed in the home Ava grew up at Wategos Beach with her family, we thought it would make for the perfect location for our creative project. Coming home back to Australia after living in Europe we wanted to bring a touch of French/Italian style fine art approach to our shoot, we aimed to incorporate a romantic softness to our flat lays while also celebrating the outdoors and beautiful Aussie beaches.”
Everything about this shoot is beautiful.
Photography, make up. hair, flowers, spell dresses and the best location!
