Rhiannon and Dylan, the stars of the show, or the shoot, met on Tinder. “Dylan has referred to me as his ‘Tinderella’ due to us crossing paths on Tinder about three and a half years ago” explains the bride to be. “Our first date involved meeting up at the local dog park and Dylan’s Border Collie ‘Mango’ definitely helped seal the deal. What was meant to be a quick date lead to a drink at our local and then a nice dinner out. I knew pretty instantly that I had found my person!”
The proposal was perhaps not quite as much of a surprise as the groom to be hoped it would be, tells Rhiannon. “I actually knew Dylan had the ring already! So in classic Rhiannon fashion, I asked him on a random Monday night to ‘hurry up and get on with it’ and he proposed in our lounge room with our dog Mango and then we went out for Parmi’s at our local. A perfect proposal in my eyes. I don’t like all the frilly stuff and this felt more like us!”
On what they love about one another, Rhiannon shares “Dylan is so caring, calm, hilarious and loves a good adventure. He makes me laugh daily and is such a supportive and loving husband.
What Dylan loves about me is my organisation, assertiveness, creativity, passion and ability to wear my heart on my sleeve (I stole this from his vows, does that count?!)”
