Beautiful beachside weddings have long been a favourite of you Dotties, and this beachside wedding inspiration shoot with the beautiful addition of steely grey blues is the most beautiful tone on tone look for your own wedding day. Lush urns of cream blooms spill over, a low table sits right on the sand,  surrounded by pillows with patterns, topped with the softest blue crockery and of gorgeous a fresh flower garland.

But while the stationery, the florals, the tablescape, the gowns in this shoot are stunningly beautiful, the meaning behind the shoot was actually something so much more.

“This shoot is a fantasy. It is make-believe” tells photographer Glen of Mr Edwards “I wanted to photograph the wedding I wanted to see in Australia at that point. The Wedding that somehow was excluded in this country. And I wanted to shoot it exactly like I shoot all of my clients.

I was inspired to put this together after having so many conversations with other vendors during the same-sex marriage debate who felt the same as me. People who couldn’t believe that love in all its forms was not celebrated the way it should be in this country.”

Mr Edwards teamed up with stylist  & floral designer Kiko Design, fashion stylist  The Fashion Futurist  (who used beautiful pieces from Karen Willis Holmes and The Aurum Collective to style our (real life) brides.  Jessica Marshall Makeup and  Rachel Murphy styled their hair and makeup while the complementing beautiful blue stationery suite was designed by  D & D Letterpress.
