It is candlelight that makes magic happen after dark and today’s dramatic candlelit wedding inspiration marries the deepest shades – emeralds and copper with dramatic styling, and of course plenty of candlelight to pay homage to historic spaces and magic moments.
With Emma Wise Photography behind the camera, a dream team headed to the Yarra Valley to captured newly renovated historic venue of Fondata 1872.
Floral designer Gillian Pollard styled up the shoot and created sculptural arrangements of greenery and white flowers, phalaenopsis orchids, tulips, paperwhites, hellebores and glossy green ferns for the venue, with our bride carrying bouquets of blush pink roses.
Emerald green was a focal point of the carefully crafted stationery with origami fold detail by A Tactile Perception which tied beautifully together with the emerald green wedding semi-naked chocolate mud cake with Swiss buttercream and gold leaf.
Our bride, Ashla Magill, dressed in three luxe gowns from Catherine R Couture each with its own incredible detailing, was styled with jewels from Jeanette Maree and hair and makeup by Nichole Chambers giving Ashla a modern blushing bride look with bold raspberry lips.
