Warm, glowing candlelight and beautiful wedding gowns was all today’s talented team needed to create a romantic white on white bridal inspiration shoot.
Photographer Lisa Thompson teamed up with bridal gown designer Louise Alvarez Couture, florist Maria Lush, makeup artist Cathy Tolpigin and hairstylist Kristine Bisson with delightful jewels from Victoria Buckley and masses of glowing candles from Oleria Emporium to create a shoot Lisa describes as one that “encompasses femininity, elegance and minimalism. These beautiful inspiration images utilise natural window light and the warm glow of candlelight to create a feeling of sensuality and softness. Beautiful white and cream elements, textures and layers feature throughout the shoot creating a feeling of light, warmth and harmony”.
The team worked in a blank canvas space of white walls and floors, with delicate crystal cut candle holders, and candlesticks of all shapes and sizes. Romantic gowns paired with beautiful white flowers, hair and makeup that is feminine, yet organic all creating a look that is simple and stunning in its beauty.
Delicate gowns form Louise Alvarez with details of applique flowers, delicate tulle skirts and ivory corded lace utterly romantic and the stars of the show.
With a white on white colour palette, Maria Lush used boldly shaped blooms incorporating Delphinium flowers, peonies, buddleia and blushing bride.
Keeping the look romantic, makeup artist Cathy Tolpigin worked to create a soft bronze smokey eye with gentle pink lips and cheeks – plenty of highlighter catching the candle glow. Hairstylist Kristine Bisson created a soft braided up-do which worked to the textural, organic feel of the shoot.
