Laura & Rowan
There is a chic sense of the beautiful in today’s all white waterside wedding. From the bride’s stunning beautiful gown, to the peaceful and beautiful church ceremony. The celebratory boat ride and the flowers, oh, the incredible flowers at the reception! This wedding comes our way from gm photographics.
It seems Laura and Rowan were always meant to be. On how they met, Laura tells, “Our parents have always known each other, and our dad’s went to school together back 50 years ago in Sicily.”
Laura and her bridesmaids wore gowns from D’Amico Couture.
Rowan and Laura chose St Peter Chanel, Hunters Hill for their marriage ceremony. Laura telling, “We were drawn to the church as it is amazing both inside and outside”.
Laura chose Pachelbel’s Canon in D for the processional.
Laura and Rowan chose Catalina Restaurant for their reception, noting, “We love Catalina for their location, service and quality of food!”
Faye Cahill Cake Design created the wedding cake. It was, of course, all white and topped with a beautiful white sugar flower.
The all white floral arrangements on the day were styled by Vesna Grasso Floral Designer.
Guests received mini candles from Glasshouse Candles which Laura decorated herself.
The bridal party arrived by boat to the reception, Laura noting, “Rowan and I where the only two that were supposed to be on the boat but at the last minute we got a bigger boat and the bridal party joined us!”. The trip turned out to be one of her favourite parts of the day.
Of their first dance, Laura remembers, “We danced to A Groovy Kind of Love by Phil Collins. Ever since we first heard the song together we fell in love with it.”
The final flourish in this gorgeous wedding is the beautiful film captured by Soda Films.
Congratulations Laura and Rowan! What a beautiful day you had! Thank you to gm photographics for sharing this wedding with us!
