Tiffany & Michael
What an eclectic bohemian wedding Tiffany & Michael celebrated! The bride, who always knew she would get married at her parents home created an occasion with her groom Michael that reflected the things they loved. They chose CJ Williams Photography to capture their day.
The couple wed overlooking the lake, choosing vintage inspired furniture pieces to hire, before a reception under strings of glowing bulbs, a great band, great food and music set the celebrations into motion.
The groom and groomsmen wore classic suits from Suits Formal Wear.
Tiffany wore a gown she designed as a collaboration with Hue Le Designs & and Rose Noir Designs. For her finishing bohemian touches she added a crystal hairpiece from Bo and Luca and shoes by Midas.
Dru Soltys performed the ceremony.
Tiffany notes, “I always knew I wanted to get married at my parents’ house. It is such a beautiful place right on the lake, and I thought it would be so special to get married at the home I had grown up in. I didn’t even think about looking at any other venues.”
“I loved walking back down the aisle after we were announced husband and wife through all the confetti. I was just so happy and the confetti made it feel so special. It was also good to see so many of our family and friends smiling back at us and sharing that special moment with us.”
The couple hired golf carts from ADH Golf and Utility Vehicles to get around the property, adding a “Just Married” banner to theirs.
Tiffany’s bridesmaids wore gowns by Eileen Kirby from Torso and crystal handpieces from Forever Soles . They each carried blooms arranged by the wedding florist Flower Nation, Tiffany remembering, “I also sent my bouquet off the day after the wedding to The Wedding Scarf and they turned my bouquet into a beautiful silk scarf, so now I get to keep my gorgeous bouquet forever!”
Of her vision for the day, Tiffany notes, “Given it was at home among so many trees, I wanted it all to look quite natural and rustic with a bit of a vintage twist. I have always loved and collected vintage furniture and bits and pieces so really wanted to have this look as part of our special day. I wanted there to be a really relaxed party vibe, but still to have all the formalities of a wedding. I knew everyone would feel relaxed because they were in a familiar environment as we have had lots of parties at mum and dads over the years. I just wanted this one to be the best!”
The couple hired furniture and decor items from Maisey Collections and Her Hand Picked Harvest.
Guests dined under strings of glowing lights on a feast prepared by Ryan John Private Chef and a delicious cake by a friend of the bride. They even got to print out their Instagram shots of the night thanks to Social Playground, Tiffany noting, “I am really glad we got the live Instagram printer from Social Playground, it was a hit and added a bit of difference to our wedding. Everyone loved it and got really involved.”
“The dance floor got pretty crazy, lots of great dance solos were going on! It was great to see one of the bridesmaids hitch her dress up and get down on the floor and do the worm!”
Tiffany and Michael hired Launch Film Productions to film their day, Tiffany noting, “I am so so glad we had a videographer. I didn’t want one to begin with, but my mum and sister managed to convince me that I would regret it if I didn’t. I am so glad I did, as it has been so nice to watch it back and re-live everything about the day, and to see things that we didn’t even realise had happened. I would definitely recommend it to anyone planning a wedding!”
