Beau & Andy

I love the romantic feeling behind today’s sweet Central Coast engagement photos. Captured by Lina Hayes Wild At Heart Photography, Beau and Andy chose a gorgeous green laden forest for photographs before a beautiful water backdrop. Together, they wanted photographs that captured their newly engaged happiness and the excitement they feel together.

As for how they met? Beau tells, “We met at my 17th birthday party – Andrew crashed it! It wasn’t until a friend’s party a few months later that we really clicked.”

“On our first date, I spent a good few hours choosing the perfect outfit and getting my hair and make up just right even though we were only meeting for coffee. When I arrived, Andrew was in his dirty and dusty tradie uniform! Later that evening, Andrew was excited and amazed to see a powerpoint in the café, to which I replied “aren’t you an electrician?” Our relationship has been full of these little moments that we continually quote to one another, laughing each and every time we reminisce.”

On what she loves about her husband to be, Beau says, “I love Andrew’s passionate and positive outlook on life.”

Of the proposal, Beau remembers, “It was our fifth anniversary and we had gone away to The Hunter Valley for the weekend. On the day itself, Andrew suggested a walk through the horse paddocks that were on the property we stayed at. After a short distance, we were in this beautiful, open space where we couldn’t see any buildings or anything – it was like we were the only two people on Earth! Andrew said he had a present for me, I had assumed it was just an anniversary gift – earrings or perhaps a necklace. Once I opened the box and saw the ring I was literally speechless for about a minute after Andrew asked, “will you marry me?” He had to ask me again for an answer! I snapped out of it and of course said “yes!” ”

On what he loves about Beau, Andrew says, “Beau’s ability to always inspire me to achieve my best.”

For their engagement photos, Beau & Andy wanted, “Something natural, something that represented us, our emotions and our relationship. Having known Lina for many years, we knew that she would be fantastic in making us feel comfortable and letting our personalities shine through. We wanted to look back on our photos and remember the way we felt, and see the emotion clearly. Each and every photo is a representation of a moment containing nothing but happiness, which is exactly what we wanted.”
