Today we show you how to put together the gold gingerbread favours and diy favour tags featured in our Secret Garden Flowergirl & Page Boy Inspiration styled shoot. This is such an easy way to put that extra special touch on your sweet treats at your wedding. I ordered the key cookie cutter from ebay but you could make any shape biscuits you like.
For the tags, you will need:
– Paper swing tags (I got mine at Spotlight)
– Kaisercraft rub ons (available at Spotlight or online)
– Any plastic pen that you can use to rub the transfer with
– Ribbon of your choice
These are so simple to use! Cut out the quote you want to use, place it on your tag right side down and then rub the back of plastic with your blunt pen. (I used one of the kid’s crayons!).
Make your gingerbread or any other cookie flavour you want. Use rolled white fondant cut out in the same shape to ice the cookie. Then, use edible gold paint to colour in the biscuits. Don’t forget to make holes for the ribbon to tie the key tags to both in the cookie and in the icing.
Once they’re dry, you can thread your ribbon and key tag to finish them off!
