Sharn & Chris
Marrying overlooking something so fun and iconic as Melbourne’s bathing boxes? Why not! I love the bayside Melbourne vibe of Sharn and Chris’ very hot wedding day!
Sharn tells their story. “We have always liked being around water. We met wakeboarding on a river, spend a lot of time at the beach and love hanging out on tropical islands! Because of this we wanted to get married by the sea.”
Ben Swinnerton Photography captured the hot and breezy day with all the iconic backdrops but beautiful moments.
Sharn wore a strapless gown by Karen Willis Holmes .
Sharn and Chris were married at Green Point, Brighton Beach Foreshore Reserve. Sharn tells, “After searching for weeks to find a suitable location we found a great little park in Brighton overlooking the beach with a great view of the city.”
Of their photographer, Sharn says, “Our photographer, did a fantastic job of capturing every moment of the day as you can see in the photos.”
Sharn and Chris held their reception at Windows on the Bay, Mordialloc. Sharn explains, “As I am sure many other couples will relate, finding a location for your ceremony can be tough but finding a good reception venue can be just as hard. Luckily we came across a great restaurant in Mordialloc called Windows on the Bay which is situated right on the water and gave us amazing view of the sun setting on the bay. The service from Line at Windows on the Bay was excellent and the food was incredible.”
Congratulations Sharn and Chris! Thank you for sharing your day with us! Thank you to Ben Swinnerton Photography for sharing today’s wedding!
How gorgeous! Every detail is divine, but it’s also warm and truly joyful!
What a lovely wedding. Love all the personal details and the striking photos. Especially the one at the bay with the tree silhouette! Just lovely 🙂
How awesome are the last two photos. Absolutely stunning, love the fireworks and effects.
Oh my goodness! What a beautiful setting! Adore!
