I have really been loving bridesmaids in navy lately. It’s such an elegant colour and a little softer than the classic black. It’s also pretty trans seasonal- navy in Summer and Spring is just as appropriate as navy in winter (especially if you switch up the skirt length!).
Paired with colour (like hot pink, sunshine yellow, tangerine orange or even lime green) or with neutrals (fluffy cream bouquets white and taupe) the colour works with so many different palettes while remaining classic and chic.
There’s so many gorgeous navy gowns popping up in stores- here’s a few of my favourites!
1. Forever New Jaya Dress 2. BHLDN Wingspan dress 3. Gorman Marakesh Dress 4. Sentani Bridesmaid gowns from 5. Forever New Sasha Sparkle Maxi 6. Baccini & Hill Luci Dress 7. Review Barbie Dress 8. Bridesmaids Only 8th Avenue Short gown 9. Collette Dinnigan Sparkle Web Dress
This is my colour scheme! I’m planning to have my maid of honour & bridesmaid in navy, with a mix of white, pale pink and apricot flowers. Initially I was hoping for all blue using hydrangeas, but our wedding is late March and they’re not in season. I think plan B should be just as pretty 🙂 This is my inspiration.. http://pinterest.com/carlyswedding/inspiration/
