Azure Blue

The clear warm blue of the sky at midday on a summer’s day, the blue of a tropical sea, or the prettiest blue in your pencil box. Combine with light through to darker browns and ivory, add a pop or red or orange. With cherry reds, creams and deep sapphire blue. With touches of coral and lime green. With terracotta, soft spring green and ivory. With blue hues and blue-green. With white and sand. A mix of white, ivory and cream. With mid pink, white and soft yellow. With  soft pearly greys, seafoam green and white For flowers, think blue Tibetan poppy, agapanthus, lime green foliage, huge bunches of white flowers, cannas, camellias, pink or blue hydrangeas, cherry blossom, ceanothus, daffodils, gypsophila, proteas, daisies.Read more...
