Sarah from Salt & Soul Weddings tells us a little more about herself:

Weddings are the best to work on because…. You get front row seats to a love story. Seeing the little in between moments and seeing the day you’ve been chatting to your couple about for months come together.

What is something people would be surprised to know about your job or something that challenges you about your job?

Separating work and personal life. I love what I do so much but I also have two kids and a husband who I want to be present for, we also homeschool our eldest so finding that balance is still something I’m working on. We recently added an external office to our property so this has helped a lot and improved my work flow too.

What is it about the creative process that you most enjoy?

I love playing with natural light, as much as I plan ahead I love finding creative ways to use what we have in front of us.

What are you hilariously bad at?

Keeping up with socials, I love showing off my couple’s day and sharing work with other vendors but playing into the algorithm can suck you in a bit.

When you were small what did you dream of being and where have those dreams taken you?

I wanted to be a marine biologist or photographer but I’m no good at sitting at a desk or taking tests so here we are haha.
