Some love stories take time to bloom, just like the roses that lined Hannah and Jordyn’s wedding ceremony at De Bortoli Rutherglen Estate. After reconnecting through a DM, a quiet coffee date turned into a forever kind of love. Their pink party wedding was full of laughter and thoughtful touches… from sweet bows on both dresses to a ceremony officiated by the incredible Lily Pickles and ring-bearing duties by Gran and their pups. Every vibrant moment was captured by the ever-talented Kelsey from Blissful Love Photography.

After matching on a dating app, Hannah and Jordyn’s connection slowly faded away. Until it sparked back up again when Hannah slid into Jordyn’s DM’s. They met up for coffee and slowly spent more time together until one day, Hannah never left Jordyn’s house again.

Before their trip to Brown Brothers Winery in Milawa, Jordyn gave the team a heads-up that she wanted to pop an important question… “We had a beautiful brunch and prosecco, Jordyn was so nervous she could barely eat, which is very out of character for her. Once I had finally downed a few proseccos and announced I was starting to get tipsy, Jordyn knew she had to pop the question ASAP. We went for a short walk through their garden, where Jordyn was taking my photo, when she pulled the ring box from her bag and said, “I have never been so sure of anything in my life”. It all worked out perfectly, and Brown Brothers was very helpful with bringing it all together,” Hannah shared.

While both Jordyn and Hannah wore dresses, Jordyn knew early on that she was leaning towards a mini dress. She found her dream dress on her first visit to Melbourne’s Moonstruck Bride boutique. The pièce de résistance was the gorgeous bow on the back!

Her wedding party included her other sister and her close friend, both wearing silky blush-pink dresses with fluttery sleeves.

Hannah, on the other hand, wore a full-length white dress with a subtle bow detail – on the front this time! As an indecisive person, it took Hannah a little while to find her perfect dress, and she found this beautiful Michele’s Bridal number only three months out from the big day!

Her wedding party consisted of her three younger sisters and her close friend, each wearing a different cut of the same blush-pink, silky dress.

All of the beautiful pink flowers from their wedding were designed by Gina from Beechworth Floral Designs. “We told Gina the colours and vision that we had, and she came up with the rest. After our first meeting with her, we felt like she had really captured and understood what we were looking for and provided us with beautiful florals for the day.”

The setting? The stunning De Bortoli Rutherglen Estate! “The winery gives a European vibe that we love and makes one of our favourite Proseccos. The venue provided accommodation, a space for the reception, and a ceremony, which meant we could have all of this at one location. We were able to book out the venue for our close families and friends to stay over the weekend. The ceremony took place in the rose garden surrounded by the vineyards and the reception took place in their Muscat Hall. The roses had just bloomed for the first time that season, only a few days before we got married.”

About five minutes before Jordyn walked down the aisle, disaster struck! Her beautiful bow broke off her dress. Swooping in to save the day was their photographer, Kelsey, and hairdresser, Taela! “Kelsey had a sewing kit in her car and was able to sew Jordyn’s dress back together in the midst of chaos and saved the day!”

Walking down the aisle first were their wedding parties, plus their two puppies – Penny and Vinnie! Jordyn walked down the aisle first with her mum, followed soon after by Hannah and her mum as Sidney Rose’s version of “Home” played.

Lily Pickles was their talented storyteller for the ceremony, providing a beautiful narrative that spoke to who Hannah and Jordyn are and how they ended up at the altar. “We included a welcome to country and also included Hannah’s Gran, Jan, as the ring bearer,” they shared.

Jordyn and Hannah put together an incredible vendor dream team, and a number of them really stood out to this couple, including:

“1. Jen, the wedding coordinator at De Bortoli, knew all of the ins and outs of the day. No ask was too big and ensured that we were well looked after on the day.

2. Gina, our florist, is such a kind and thoughtful person who created our beautiful arrangements by encompassing our vision.

3. Olivia, Luminary Artistry, and Taela Angell, Blond Bar, our makeup artist and hairdresser, both are incredibly talented and beautiful people. They were there bright and early, switching between both two bridal parties and our Mum’s.

4. Shae, Iggy and Crumb, created our vintage heart cake that was so stunning and delicious!”

Kelsey from Blissful Love Photography was the only photographer who could have captured the pure joy and party vibes from this ceremony – and this duo couldn’t have been happier with her passion! “She was incredible and did much more than just take our pictures. She brought a calming essence to our day, along with fun vibes and a creative lens. A number of our guests commented on her kind and lovely nature. She helped us along the way, throughout the planning stages, always able to provide helpful tips and recommendations leading up to the day,” Hannah gushed.

If Hannah had to pick her absolute favourite shot from her and Jordyn’s pink party wedding, it would have to be this shot of the two of them in front of the breathtaking arch doors!

Congratulations, Hannah and Jordyn, on this beautiful pink party wedding! And thanks to Blissful Love Photography for capturing and sharing these stunning shots with us.
