Delicate, elegant florals and whimsical table stylings take centre stage in today’s moody, romantic-styled shoot. Against the grandeur of the Lark Distillery, a unique and majestic wedding venue, the creative team behind this inspirational shoot combined their expertise, passion, and talents to bring their vision to life.

Kas from Little White Space Photography and Alex from Huemen Media preserved each moment of this gorgeous shoot. Thanks to these two visual artists, we now get to share the impeccably styled floral arrangements, table settings, and romantic architectural backdrops.

This creative collaboration was born with two Melbourne-based wedding vendors after bonding over a shared passion for (and self-proclaimed healthy obsession) Tasmania – the island off the island. An island blessed with world-heritage listed wilderness, an internationally renowned food and wine scene and abundant historical architecture.

After years of dreaming and planning, Melinda of Blooms by Mel Floral Styling, and Kas of Little White Space Photography, finally embarked on their long-awaited journey to Tasmania. The catalyst? The exciting news that Lark Distillery was opening up for weddings. With flights booked and creative juices flowing, they were ready to bring their vision to life.

Now, here we are sharing their inspiring work showcasing the beautiful Lark Distillery, their talents alongside their creative team and showing future Tassie wedding couples how incredible your wedding can be if you have a dream team of vendors on your side.

Our beautiful couple perfectly matches the moody, romantic vibes of the shoot. The bride looks ethereal in her Ziva, Maison Oui, and Christina Rossi gowns, all elegantly styled with her hair down and adorned with various glittering headbands. And the groom in his classic cut black suit.

The floral arrangements, by Blooms by Mel Floral Styling, were meticulously curated to add a hint of elegance and grace, perfectly complemented by Lark’s sandstone walls. These flowers were a romantic collection of delicate cosmos, quicksand roses, and the ever-beautiful paniculata hydrangea.

Dainty table settings adorned the shoot, also put together by Mel, would transport guests into a world of refined charm. The delicate touches, like the pears laced in bows and intricate vases of cosmos surrounded by candles of varying heights, created a gorgeous, warm, and intimate feel to the spreads.
