Micro weddings are becoming more and more popular, and rising with them are micro wedding venues that aren’t just pit stops. Today’s inspiration shoot throws the traditional elopement venue out the window!

Welcome to “HQ is Golden”, a collaborative style shoot with Zee Scott HQ, and Silence is Golden, a silent disco business located in the heart of Melbourne. “We spoke about how cool it would be to have a silent disco ‘add-on’ for the micro weddings. They’re super fun and a perfect music option for our venue,” Zee explained.

The new micro wedding HQ is the star of the show, with its dazzling disco balls, peachy tones, and red statement decor. This venue screams “Micro Venue—Big Features.” Did we mention the disco balls?! Of course, they are a perfect addition to the shoot, as their latest Hitched at HQ ‘add-on’ is their Silent Disco package!

The space comfortably holds a couple plus six of their guests. “I wanted to show how awesome a wedding of eight [including the couple] could be! Micro weddings don’t have to be ‘registry style’ or quick ‘in and out’. Maybe there are just six guests who you would like to REALLY celebrate with!” said Zee.

With a curated list of vendors, the shoot aimed to showcase the space’s fun and exciting endless possibilities and all of its vendors’ talents. Captured by the talented Hailey from Love Bomb Photos and Revel Films, the love-toned wedding perfectly highlights everything a micro wedding could be. “I knew right away that Hailey from Love Bomb Photos had exactly the right style I was looking for, and she didn’t disappoint!”

As we enter the space, the dresser by the entrance is covered by classy drinks from Just a Glass, a ruby-red audio guest book from Off The Hook, and these adorable love-themed lunchbox cakes by Zee herself. Across the room is another dresser, this time illuminated and covered in pink and red florals from Brother Florals. Nestled here are the Silence is Golden headsets to get the tunes pumping!

Our bride is in a disco-inspired gold sequinned gown from Silvana Tedesco with these incredible sheer bell sleeves. Hair by Marjorie May Fair styled the model’s hair in a wavy half-up-half-down, keeping it simple so the star of the show is still her gilded gown. Making Pretty added a touch of gold glitter to her face, that catches the light perfectly as they move around the room. Her second dress is also from Silvana Tedesco, but this time, it is a gorgeous hot pink mini with long sleeves and glittery silver heels to match.
