Hannah and Adrian’s romantic Yarra Valley wedding luncheon, where love, lunch, and loved ones intertwine in a stunning celebration. Set amidst the picturesque vineyards of Stones of the Yarra Valley, the couple’s special day was filled with heartfelt moments and exquisite details – but none as perfect as the inclusion of their sweet twin daughters.  Hannah says, “We wanted our wedding to be warm, intimate, relaxed, and authentically us.” And it most certainly was! Adrian and Hannah, together, tell us about their wedding – captured beautifully by Holly Osborne

Hannah: We met through a dating app. For our first date, we went out for breakfast followed by a stroll along the beach. We instantly felt connected having had so many things in common from our values and beliefs to what we ate for breakfast every day.

Adrian: I knew from the moment Hannah and I lived together in a small 2-bedroom apartment in Essendon that I was going to marry her. Our lives blended with ease, our desires for the future aligned and we made each other so endlessly happy.

Adrian: I choose a custom-made suit through Bellington Estate. I went with a cream suit paired with a white shirt and dark brown shoes. The suit was different from the norm and paired well with the aesthetic of the day.

Adrian: We decided to step away from a traditional wedding party, opting to have our daughters by our side as flower girls in dresses from Oui Babe.

Adrian: Revery from Hey Jack played an acoustic version of ‘Song Bird’ by Eva Cassidy as Hannah walked down the aisle. Revery are so incredibly talented, their voices and musical ability blew us away.

Hannah: Our ceremony was dreamy. The sun speckled through the leaves of the elm trees, the voices of our amazing acoustic duo danced through the air, and the people who we cherished most smiled and radiated love. It was the most euphoric moment in time, a memory we treasure so dearly. We loved having our twin daughters as part of our wedding day and having my godmother be our celebrant, sharing our written vows and declaring our love for one another in front of our family and friends was magical.

Adrian: We wanted our ceremony and reception to be at the one location which is why Stones of the Yarra Valley was so appealing, amongst other things. We utilised the grassed lawns under the old elm trees for our ceremony and the historic Stables for our intimate reception.

Hannah: Each of the place cards had a personalised message inside. We wanted our family and friends to know how valued and loved they each were. The bonbonnieres we made using locally sourced raw honey. Our florist from Sugar Bee Flowers came back at the end of the reception to bundle together bouquets of flowers for our guests to take home.

Hannah: We were very fortunate that the team at Stones shared a list of phenomenal vendors with us, one of those being Youki and her team at Sugar Bee Flowers. Youki was such a delight to work with, from our initial discussion she was able to capture the essence of our wedding and the vision we had in mind. We asked for autumnal colours and left the rest up to her and boy oh boy did she deliver.

Adrian: Our favourite photos from the day are of us with our daughters.

Hannah: We were so fortunate to have found our photographer Holly Osborne, she is extremely professional, warm, patient and so highly skilled. She made everyone feel comfortable while capturing the most exquisite photos.

Hannah: I purchased my Laure De Sagazan dress from Anastasia at Carte Blanche Bride. Anastasia has an extraordinary talent for understanding your individual style and pulling dresses that align with this. As soon as I tried on the ‘Delon’ dress I fell in love; the graphic lace, the cut, the simplistic skirt. I felt beautiful, elegant, and most importantly comfortable.

Adrian: We did some DIY for the day – we made the place cards, table numbers, and bonbonnieres.

Adrian: Our first dance was to ‘In Case You Didn’t Know’ by Boyce Avenue. When I heard the song it instantly made me think of Hannah and how I feel about her.

Adrian: We truly could not recommend any of our vendors more highly, everyone was such a delight to work with and made the whole process extremely easy.

Hannah: Our advice would be to keep it simple. Take time to decide what is most important to you both and ensure your vendors all align with your ethos.

Hannah and Adrian we have loved revisiting your glorious wedding day with you (and your beautiful girls!). And thanks to Holly Osborne for sharing their stunning images.
