We see endless wedding inspiration here at Polka Dot Wedding, and today is no different. But today? We’re pulling it all back a bit, for something pared back, something a little more organic, a little softer, more romantic, while still of course, playing all the right modern notes.

Set at the beautiful Tweed Coast country venue of Farm & Co Weddings, the setting, of course, inspiring the modern before rustic, modern luxe vibe that the shoot brought to life. With photographer Daniel Chafer behind the camera, wedding stylist Event Stylist & Co worked to bring the look to life with floral designer Bunch It Up.

An outdoor ceremony with the country landscape as the backdrop, a lush and comfy lounge area for cocktails, to a modern indoor reception carrying the look from space to space.  Beige linens sitting on long tables (rentals from Hampton Event Hire), with polished rock, textured flowers, and the glamour of crystal glassware.  Lush hanging installations in tones of champagne, caramel and brown (lit by Out of the Dark Event Lighting) and paper pieces from Signed With Love celebrating the modern organic style. And the cake of course, the finishing touch. Designed by The Cake That Ate Paris , its sits on a metallic stand, simple with two tiers adorned with natural dried blooms and lush soft pink peonies.

The styling team sharing “While it’s a Farm wedding venue, it skews more to the modern than rustic, so we wanted the styling to reflect a more modern, luxe vibe that would match the calibre of the farm-to-plate food and beverage menus. The colour palette was taken from the natural surrounds of the venue, rust soil and earthy, warm colours. Some of the produce from the farm was also utilised in the table styling to enhance the connection to the venue and it’s surrounds.”

Model Shekinah R Taderera lounged in pieces from The Whole Bride before changing into a modern lace Made With Love gown, her hair and makeup styled with effortless beauty in mind by Amy Spry Hair & Makeup and Moksha Makeup. Shekinah accompanied by “groom” Nathan Howe in a beautiful cream suit that suited the look perfectly.
