Bright and bold, or soft and feminine, Flowers by Julia G or a combination of the two, makes the floral work done by Julia unique and interesting. Using seasonal flowers that inspire awe every time they come into bloom is a big part of her floristry practise, and each season brings something special to use. Even winter weddings have beautiful feminine blooms like wattle, Star of Bethlehem, sweet peas and hyacinths – and a florist who understands this can source these locally which is a lot more eco friendly than sourcing out of season blooms from Europe. Speaking of eco friendly, Julia is passionate about reducing her environmental footprint where she can so she recycles plastic waste and green waste and minimises her use of floral foam.
