Amber & Brodie’s Glamorous Backyard Wedding Party captured by Naz from Manis Moments was held at Amber’s parent’s property, with the ceremony specifically taking place in the equestrian arena! Amber says about their first meeting, “There’s no special story! We met clubbing at The Aberdeen (called something else now). I had a partner at the time and I found Brodie to be a little annoying actually. A few months after he found me on Facebook and we started chatting. The rest is history!” And a stunning wedding to showcase the love these two share…

Brodie proposed to me over a steak dinner at home. I wasn’t expecting it at all, to be honest. I had PJs and pimple cream on. He was really nervous and acting strange, and he hid the ring under the sink!

I wanted to go for something simple and comfortable and chose a gown from Luv Bridal. I had my hair down with a mantilla veil and ivory crepe wedding dress. I’m not a girly girl – I didn’t want over the top so my whole attire was pretty plain. I wore my dress the whole day and night, it was completely ruined by the next morning but it holds so many memories.

We chose to have our wedding at my parent’s property in Bedfordale so I could get married in the arena. I’ve had horses the majority of my life and it’s what my entire life revolves around. We also wanted our oldest dog Dexter included – he can be fairly anxious in new environments so it was important to make sure he was comfortable.

I walked down the aisle with my dad. We walked to “Hurricane” by Luke Combes.

Brodie wore a grey tux jacket with black pants from Politix. He changed colours a few times but landed on the grey for the day.

I did my own flowers. I wanted peach, rust, and creams. I purchased real touch flowers on Ebay and used silver eucalyptus from my parent’s backyard. The majority of the flowers/foliage at the wedding was picked from the garden. Two days before the wedding my in-laws helped make the bouquets.

Our best friends and siblings were part of our wedding party. Brodie had my brother and I had his sister. They all wore black with different styles/brands of suits and dresses. We wanted something affordable and comfortable for everyone so they chose their own attire.

Thank you to Amber & Brodie for sharing such a beautiful day with us, and to Manis Moments for the gorgeous images.
