We love to dream on a Monday with beautiful inspiration. It eradicates the Monday blues and sets us up for a week of beautiful ideas and today’s editorial? It sets us up right!
Under the creative direction of wedding attire salon, Twelve South Bridal, the architecturally driven venue of Harriett at Hubert Estate, comes “In Her Atmopshere”.
“In her atmosphere.
An ode to the only girl in the room, a wildflower-like spirit in bloom. She is as light as air, she is near.
In her atmosphere.”
The dream team worked with photographer Kinship by Kristy to capture model Malka Yota in beautiful Twelve South pieces. The team makes the most of the contrast of the venue’s bold detail, with the silhouettes that drape and dream their way through the shoot.
Malka donned gowns that were dramatic in their elegance, and the details that completely elevated them – like a delicate floral embellished veil (which we just had to to honour for The Flowers Issue), jewelled pieces from Wardrobe In The Lane and modern hair & makeup by artist Carissa Tan Makeup. Architecturally inspired, and raw, organic floral arrangements, crafted by Pepperberry Flora, the finishing touch.
Paying homage to the detail – the buttons, the transparency of the veils, the way the fabric drops like liquid, the delicacy of the tulle, are what makes these gowns, and their accessories truly stand out. Says the team “This editorial explores a wild personified elegance. To live in bloom is to live with hope and purpose, with imagination and vision.”
Fallen in love with these beautiful gowns? They are, of course, all available at Twelve South Bridal.
