We are the biggest  fans of engagement sessions that truly reflect who you are together, your loves, your secret spots, and your weekend rituals. So we could not adore the story of Shannon and Isaac’s engagement more.

The pair, who live on their own rural farm outside of Toowoomba, donned their hats and boots and were joined by their very favourite four-legged friends for their engagement photos. It is the perfect capturing, by Tessa Cox Photography, of an engagement session that is well and truly authentic to their story. “We wanted a relaxed approach to our engagement shoot and what better place than our home” explains Shannon. “It was an exact representation of who we are and what we love (our animals!) so naturally our horses had to be there.” Special shoutout to Tyneale Hahn Makeup Artist and The Hair Artist Collective – Cassie who glammed up Shannon’s look for the session too.

After meeting at the Warwick Rodeo in 2015 on New Year’s Eve, “The rest is history, Isaac survived my 4 older brothers.. protecting their little sister in the highest degree. Not only did he have to win my heart but theirs too! ” laughs Shannon, the couple became engaged on a weekend to one of their very favourite places, Montville. “Isaac proposed in a beautiful apartment overlooking the beautiful Montville Mountains. It was the perfect moment and one I’ll never forget!”

On what they love about one another, Shannon and Isaac tell “We both share the same passions for life which makes creating our dreams and plans for our future so exciting. We enjoy the simple things like morning cuppas on the deck listening to the neighbour’s sheep and cattle, the chirping birds and the beautiful view of our little cottage home with our beautiful animals.

Isaac is a hard-working and passionate mechanic, who works harder than anyone I know to provide the life he wants us to have. To enjoy our country home and do the things we love and makes us happy. Shannon is a casual easy-going horse, dog and rural lover who lives for beautiful sunrises and sunsets (and sharing these moments with Isaac!). Loves moments shared with her loved ones and dreams about the future we are creating!”

The couple’s photographer gets all the rave reviews. “We absolutely LOVE Tessa ! I had dreamed over her photos for two whole years waiting for our special day !
