Only 20 minutes from Hobart in Southern Tasmania’s Cola River Valley wine region, this winery hosts both ceremonies and receptions at their picturesque estate. A ceremony held in the Amphitheatre, with views overlooking the vineyard and rolling hills, with a reception featuring locally sourced seasonal produce held in the Barrel Room, with wines sourced from their vineyards. Puddleduck Vineyard, Richmond
Minutes from Richmond this winery can host your pre-wedding parties or wedding ceremony. A two-hour package covers the ceremony with bubbles, cider or beer with cheese and fruit platters for your guests to nibble on.
Every Man and His Dog Vineyard, Richmond
Nestled in the Coal River Valley this delightfully named vineyard hosts country weddings with warm country hospitality. Hold your ceremony outdoors (rug up in the autumn to take advantage of the glorious autumn colours) or The Cellar Door is available as a wet weather option for your ceremony or reception. There is a private retreat at the vineyard with accommodation for 2 people.
Tamar Ridge Tasmania, Rosevears
If you’re a lover of Pinot Noir or their sparkling Pirie, then Tamar Ridge is for you. Not far from Launceston, in the heart of the Tamar Valley on the banks of the Tamar River, this winery is proud of its cool climate wines. Home Hill Wines, Ranelagh
What could be lovelier than a wedding held at award-winning Home Hill Winery Restaurant – big glass windows looking over vineyards, rolling hills and mountain ranges of the Huon Valley, giving guests the experience of being outside, while being inside surrounded by oiled Tasmanian Oak beams and rammed earth columns. Their menu features local Tasmanian produce, and there are several indoor and outdoor options for your ceremony and reception.
Bangor Vineyard Shed, Dunalley
This charming rustic Shed provides an all-in-one venue for your wedding day. Looking out over the grape vines, peaceful farmland and the tranquil waters of Blackman and Norfolk Bays, they pride themselves on their paddock-to-plate philosophy with lamb from the property and the freshest local produce that can be found. An experienced wedding team led by Kate will recommend suppliers and take the stress off you ensuring your day runs smoothly.
Josef Chromy Tasmania, Relbia
With century-old gardens and overlooking the lake and vineyards, the Lakeside Pavilion is the perfect spot for your wedding ceremony. Adjourn to the restaurant for an exquisite meal featuring wines, cider and beer and a variety of menu packages available to suit your needs. A dedicated event coordinator is available to assist you.
Entally Estate, Hadspen
With a heritage house and magnificent gardens, this estate is situated on the banks of the South Esq River. Although closed for the winter and reopening in the Spring, you will be charmed by the surroundings – old English elm trees, Australia’s oldest conservatory, farmyard, and walled gardens – all options for your ceremony. A marquee can be erected in the historic walled farmyard on the Entally Estate grounds for your reception.
Riversdale Estate, Cambridge
With an events coordinator to assist you with your day, this vineyard estate offers several unique spaces for your wedding. The French restaurant with its grand European decor with vineyard and water views, the Private Dining Room with its old world feel with fireplace and chesterfield sofas and the Estate Gardens, while a paved area is perfect for your wedding ceremony.
Stefano Lubiano Wines, Granton
A Tuscan-inspired vineyard with views of the Derwent River and only 25 minutes for Hobart – what more could you want! Try some of their organic, biodynamic wines with your rustic Italian fare at Osteria Vista for 20-110 wedding guests.
