Wineries abound in the stunning Australian countryside, s0 where do we even begin to showcase some for your consideration when planning your winery wedding?! Luckily we have the expertise of terrific vendors such as Lovereel to lend us their thoughts on “3 Hunter Valley Wineries That Are Perfect To Capture Your Wedding Film!”…
Being Sydney & Newcastle based, the majority of our vineyard-based weddings end up being in the picturesque Hunter Valley, so we thought today we’d share some today that stand out as the perfect wedding spot for your day.
Wineries are the best! Peterson House is particularly great not only because it has gorgeous vineyards which you’d be expecting to see at any given winery, but it also has an incredible sandstone chapel on-site where couples can tie the knot. Receptions are held in a big beautiful white marquee which has plenty of windows so that you still feel as though you’re amongst the vineyards all night long, with wooden floors to boot (and boogie on).
Peppers Creek is also fantastic! It has its own chapel as well which is sandstone on the outside, but on the inside the walls are more like a Tuscany-esque clay, giving things a little bit of an Italian vibe. The same goes for the reception area, but with the welcomed addition of old-school wooden barrels, providing a unique backdrop for where the bridal party is likely to be seated.
At Talga Estate, they like to fully embrace their vineyards! Ceremonies are held outside, and so are receptions, which is definitely an excellent idea for those of you who love the outdoors. Being outside also means you’ll bare witness to a gorgeous sunset over the distant hills as you celebrate the night away. Perfect for more intimate weddings as there’s no real dance floor here as such, although nobodies going to stop you from busting some moves on the grass.
