For as long as I can remember, Melbourne designer Angela Marcuccio has been someone to watch for beautiful, romantic wedding gowns. It turns out, that Angela has been drafting up wedding pieces for over 25 years, and for a brand to stay around that long? There has to be plenty that stands the test of time.

Angela found her love of fashion through art. She made her beginning sketching the female form, the attention to the way fabrics move, and drape, the combination of texture and colour, built from a foundation of her successful career as a portrait artist.

So it’s with this creative sensibility, that we introduce you to Angela’s brand new wedding gown collection. A collection that speaks of her romantic, almost ethereal design style. A collection full of lush textures, beautiful colours and incredible detail. Today, meet “Only The Beginning”. This collection was inspired by Angela’s love for “Soft and Beautiful Elegance the Epitome of Romance”.  It symbolises, and honours, the new beginning one faces as they take the next step into marriage.

Inspired by the fabric first, these are gowns that are absolute showstoppers. There is the bold black of “Deanne” a long sleeve, richly hued ballgown, with netted sleeves and beaded sparkling black appliqué. Watercolour floral print gowns and suiting that embody something new and fresh. For classic ivory and white lovers, the laces, and the appliqués make this collection completely reflect Angela’s romantic, artistic style. Take “Julia” for example, a gown of hand-embroidered tulle with a tulle skirt that billows and holds the light. Oh and don’t miss “Honour”; if you’re a flower lover, this is the gown for you. A soft lilac toned ballgown, with 3D pink flowers that is utterly whimsical and so unexpected.
