You know how much we adore colour at Polka Dot Wedding, and while the brand new Spring 2022 collection of Peter Langner has plenty of classic white, it is the colour that we think you’re going to fall in love with.

The Italian designer, learnt from the best- Christian Dior and Christian Lacroix, to name a few, all before starting his label in 1991. And after two decades of creating beautiful gowns, this Spring collection looks forward, looks to a new stage of life, of weddings; the pieces constructed, as the brand says with “precision, construction and harmony.”

There are stunning gowns of colourful floral laces, bright vibrant saffron yellows, pretty blush pink, steel blues. The fabric, equally as unique – chiffon, silk organza, lace and tulle all feature, even linen raffia used throughout the pieces. And each gown? It has its own personality. With the design ethos of a modern twist on timeless designs, Spring 2022 Couture brings to life stunning pieces like “Jade” a seafoam green tulle gown with silver lace and the most incredible lace overlay. Other standouts are a taupe gown overlaid with tulle and saffron orange detail and a taupe tulle gown adorned with flashes of copper and slate blue.

If colour isn’t your jam, the white pieces are just as stunning, Absolutely chic gown “Giulia” has an almost minimalist design, a shift silhouette made of crepe, lets the draping do all the talking. “Havva” is another shift silhouette, overlaid with a floral appliqué tulle cape, giving it an ethereal, dreamy quality.

This is a designer who has never been afraid of actually using colour, of creating each gown to be distinct, of playing with texture and detail, it is, as the brand themselves note, full of “a passion for detail and luxe fabric and our love for precise, elegant design”.
