Canadian brand Laudae we love for their designs which marry of the moment styling, with classic wedding day style; and today they launch their brand new collection, entitled “Helios”. It’s a collection that creative director Gaby Bayona knows is an honouring of the spirit, the sense of adventure of those who wear their pieces, sharing “Each season, it’s our goal to propel forward while still staying true to our brand roots,.”
The gowns, each named after a grand city, are indeed living up to their hype. Plunging necklines and scoop backs have always been a feature of Laudae pieces, but “Helios” also brings to life bandeau and asymmetrical bodices, just to amp up the drama. Off the shoulder beauty, “St Tropez” shows all the skin, the neckline moving through to sheer bishop sleeves with sparkling adornment. “Victoria” another favourite, is beautifully minimal in styling. A deep V and centre slit joined by fabric-covered buttons, shoestring straps add the finishing touch.
But what we really love about the new Laudae collection? It’s available (in its entirety) in sizes 0-26. The brand includes elements in the gowns, like additional boning, to ensure you’re comfortable and supported every step of the way. And keeping with the “green” vibes we know and love them for, Helios intentionally make use of deadstock fabrics. The gowns are also made onsite in the same place they’re designed- their Vancouver office and studio.
Laudae‘s “Helios” collection is available from their website or in Australia at Moonstruck Bride and Amante Bridal.
