Canadian wedding gown designers Truvelle have long been a go-to for romantic, ethereal wedding gowns and their 2022? Well, it is well and truly hits the mark!

This is a collection that you’re going to love, purely because the details? the silhouettes? They’re beautifully edited, and they stay true to that defined, Truvelle vision. There are flutter sleeves, cummerbund style waistbands, sequin adorned laces. There are gowns of silk organzas and beautiful jacquard. And each comes with the sense of being comfortable, of ease.   There’s even a brand new slip style dress which you can change from ceremony to reception with its removable overskirt.  Our must-see? Lillie (Version 1). A gown of creamy organize, with the most romantic, dreamy flutter sleeves that glow (and flutter!) in the light.

And as with many collections before the new Truvelle collection is driven at its heart, but what their clientele seek. “We’ve always been a brand that listens to its brides,” says Founder and Creative Director Gaby Bayona. “To this end, we explored several new silhouettes and there will be several Truvelle ‘firsts’. The 2022 Collection combines these new design features with luxe new fabrics for a collection that brings the brand to a new level of sophistication.”

Our favourite part about this collection? Each gown is available from sizes 0-26 (and the campaign? Photographed on models who wore size 2 and size 20). The brand worked hard this year on getting its curve fits right. They’ve added curve-specific patterns and structures like specialised boning placement so that every single wearer will feel comfortable and at ease in their dream gown.

And for a brand that shouts its core values as fashion, function, inclusivity, and diversity, that, we have to applaud.

Truvelle is available in Australia via their websiteMoonstruck Bride or Paperswan Bride (as of October) in New Zealand.
