Bring on the beauty of Spring we say, that’s what August is all about and it is that celebration that led us to discover today’s beautiful (and colourful!) flower-filled garden wedding editorial dreamt up by a South Coast dream team.

All down to the vision of floral designer Clare of Gypsy Carmen (who was helped with styling by The Wedding Aisle) today’s dream team took over the stunning South Coast venue of The Old Church at Milton. Says Clare “The idea and inspiration behind the shoot were to encapsulate the ultimate free-spirited wedding. I wanted the floral landscape around the couple to be luxurious; with notes of spring.”

Mitch Pohl, stealthy behind the camera, captured model Rachelle Basile. She dressed in a white dress from La Bohème Lifestyle playing the bride alongside her groom Gui Danielewicz. The newlyweds took their seats at an incredible tablescape (furniture & crockery pieces from South Coast Party Hire). It is really the floral beauties that bring this look to life – orchids and roses, ranunculus and sweet peas. All in shades of soft pinks, vibrant magentas and cherry red, soft buttery yellow and apple green.
The flowers, oh the flowers – these weren’t just limited to decor!  Rachelle donning an oversize, and incredible floral hairpiece (complemented subtly with hair and makeup styling by Makeup by Kye) “The style is quite bohemian with strong garden accents,” says Clare, who created both a colourful floral arch (ceremony vibes!) and the tablescape topped with candles, blooms and textured fabric. She continues, “The model’s hair and dress are relaxed and informal – showcasing that weddings can still be stylish without traditional wedding attire.”

Spring is almost here friends, here is to looking ahead to flower-filled days in a blooming garden.
